Pools close only if...
• there is a threat of violent weather or lightning is sighted (pools close for a waiting period of 30 minutes)
• it is 65 degrees or less. Weather decisions are made twice daily, 11:30 am and 4:30 pm
• weather conditions cause poor turnout
• there is a mechanical breakdown at the pool
• the chemistry for the water is not at acceptable health standards
• lack of swimmers

Swim lessons will only be cancelled if there is a weather emergency or there is a mechanical breakdown. A decision will be made 1/2 hour before class.

Note: Other Park District activities may take place in the pools during scheduled times. During Adult Swim, tot pools will be guarded for youth 6 years and under. Only adults and tots will be allowed in the pool or deck area during Adult Swim.
