Parks Maintenance I - Trades Crew
Combined Services Facility (CSF)

Shall carry out maintenance of four (4) outdoor public swimming pools, general electrical, carpentry, locksmith, plumbing, and HVAC duties. High school graduate and two (2) years work experience in a field related to trades maintenance required. Ability to drive Park District vehicle between assigned locations required. Swim Team Coaches

The Palatine Park District Tiger Sharks Swim Team is always recruiting enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches to join our team. We are a growing team of 220-260 athletes ranging from the pre-competitive level to Olympic Trial qualifiers. We are a year-round program run through the Palatine Park District and are members of both USA Swimming and Illinois Swimming. Qualified candidates will work with swimmers both in a practice and competition setting. Therefore, candidates must posses a good knowledge of stroke instruction, a positive demeanor, and show a passion for swimming and coaching.

Volunteer your time and talents as a tutor for the after school program at either the NE Palatine or Edgebrook Community Center. The children vary from 1st-7th grade and need assistance with homework in English, math, and social studies. Hours are from 4:00pm-6:00pm M-TH.

Cutting Hall

Two (2) to three (3) individuals are needed to usher and assist in selling tickets at the box office during each of the below theater performances at Cutting Hall, 150 East Wood Street in Palatine. Volunteers need to be friendly, helpful, and trustworthy.
